This is one of the sweetest videos I've ever seen.
It will soon be baby deer season. We have had baby deer in our back yard, and our cats have sat patiently close to them, watching them. But I've never seen something like this. It's amazing.
Truly - what a wonderful world this is! How can people hunt deer for recreation?
Let's do our part to protect this planet, and advocate the cause of innocent animals. They don't have a voice. We should speak for them.
Have a wonderful day.

Peace and love to you too. All we can do is keep bringing the spot light onto some of the not so nice things that Mankind does. But it is lovely to see something sweet too. Thank you.
Best wishes Blu x
Wonderful indeed. I have also seen a video of a raven that fed a kitten (mostly worms, I believe, until some people started leaving food out for both of them.
OH MY DEER! As someone who shoots very bad video and pictures of wildlife, I am in awe that someone could get this kind of footage. For the moments I watched it, I was totally transported, and nothing bad was going on in the world!
And I agree with you about hunting, but you read my dad's argument for that...
Anyway, thank you!
Beautiful... I'm curious as to whether this deer was tame and maybe even a pet to allow someone to capture that footage. Whatever the reason... I'm so glad they did.
Brought tears to my eyes to see the tenderness displayed.
Thanks bindu!
Oh Joy! I once saw a yearling playing with a neighbors dog. It was so much fun to see. They chased each other in circles. I love these babies and really hate living through hunting season. I'm always counting to make sure all the fawns are still following their mommas.
This is so lovely, Bindu! And somehow transcendent, not just cute.
I agree with you! I don't eat animals and I don't approve of people hunting them either...
Thank you so much for your post Bindu. It absolutely breaks my heart to think people willingly kill these beautiful beings for sport. We drove up from Fredericksburg this weekend and I wished I could take down every deer stand I saw.
hugs from North Texas....
A lovely video, no question. Thanks, Bindu.
Hi Bindu! TGIF and a holiday here!!
What a wonderful post!! And Amstrong helps a lot!!
Blogtrotter is still turning around Vilnius. Enjoy and have a great long weekend!
When I'm feeling depressed with human beings and their egos and greed and selfishness, this video transports me to a place which is untouched by our evils.
I wish more people felt so passionately as you do Bindu.
There are connections between humans and creatures of the world, just like this video. I am not a promoter of hunting for sport, but if it is done properly for the meat which is a necessity in the hunter's livelihood I have no concerns. In today's world few people hunt to be able to put a meal on the table. It is easier to take a camera to preserve the beauty of animals.
